01 What is the minimum order for a sample and a production lot?
Samples start at MOQ 1. A first sterile carton is usually 50–100 pieces so we can freeze pouch artwork and lot format. Production lots typically open at 500 pieces; 5,000-piece lots follow once the drawing is locked. Ask for the current ladder when you send the console model.
02 Can you private-label the pouch, IFU and ferrule print?
Yes. Logo, IFU language, sterile mark and lot barcode sit on your artwork, not a catalog brand. We send a print proof before the first sterile run. NDA is available before artwork is exchanged.
03 Which connector should I specify for a diode console?
Most medical diode consoles take SMA-905. Some surgical towers still use ST; a few lab sources use FC. Match the port, not the brochure. Send a photo of the receptacle or the console IFU page and we will confirm the ferrule and thread before the sample ships.
04 Are Medfibers laser fibers single-use or reusable?
Clinical fibres are supplied as single-use sterile, one lot per pouch. Reusable builds exist for lab and OEM test benches, sold non-sterile. Do not reprocess a sterile single-use fibre — the IFU will say so in one line.
05 Which core sizes and wavelengths do you ship?
Stock cores are 200, 400 and 600 µm. Wavelength windows cover typical diode bands (about 600–1100 nm) and holmium / thulium surgical lines on request. The IFU lists the window and max power; that pair must match the console before you fire.
06 How long does a first OEM sample take?
A catalog-connector sample with your logo on a stock pouch is usually 2–3 weeks after the drawing freeze. Custom ferrule protrusion, private-label IFU and sterile validation add time. We put the gates on one calendar so purchasing can book the pilot case.
07 Do you ship sterile pouches or non-sterile bulk?
Both. Sterile Tyvek pouches are for the tray. Non-sterile bulk reels or bags are for an OEM who sterilises in-house. The carton markings differ; do not mix them on one PO line without saying so on the drawing.
08 How do I start an OEM or ODM project?
Send the console model, connector, core, length and whether you need sterile. We return a one-page spec and a sample quote. NDA first if the pinout is confidential. Source-priced, MOQ 1 for the first sample.
